I used this product to reinforce my plaster walls after removing wallpaper and before I skim coated with drywall mud. It works great and I'm onto my second roll now. Beginner Tip: The more even you begin to unroll the mesh the better the result when applying it to a wall. So there's a learning curve when using it for the first time. And it seems to rip more the smaller the roll gets. I snipped off the frayed threads around the rip and the mud covered it right up.

Did my first ever drywall patch with this and it was very easy to use, and adhered well. Sometimes the end of the tape is hard to find, so put something under it in between uses. Also occasionally will lose one strand at the edge. But those are minor inconveniences.
