Electrical tape is a fairly simple product. This product covers the basics - it's white, it's sticky, and it does a passable job of insulating wire, or ghetto wire labeling. The free zipties that came with it are notable in that they have a slightly waxier finish than most plastic zipties, and feel a little more flexible. I haven't used them for very long and can't vouch for how they hold up with age or exposure to UV light, but I have a feeling this may age (and stay flexible) for longer than some cheap variants.
AdrianMANAGE This is a much better solution for completing a large drywall patch repair than running multiple strips of narrow drywall tape. Surface is smoother, and its larger width results in fewer or no ridges, as compared to running multiple adjoining strips of more narrow tape. Product material is a mesh and is both strong and sticks to drywall. Great solution. Drywall mud sticks to it with no problem.
